When your referral becomes a qualifying TEI project, you can receive:
- 2% of qualifying TEI painting services
- Up to $1,000 per qualifying project

Know a homeowner who may need professional interior painting? Submit their information through our referral form.

We Connect
Our team contacts the homeowner to learn about their project and determine whether TEI Painters is the right fit.

They Hire TEI
If the homeowner hires TEI for a qualifying interior painting project, the referral becomes eligible for a referral bonus.

You Get Rewarded
After the qualifying project has been completed and the customer’s account has been paid in full, your referral bonus is calculated based on qualifying painting services.

Additional Work Can Increase Your Referral Bonus
The Project Grows. So Can Your Referral Bonus.
Sometimes a painting project changes once work begins.
A homeowner may decide to add:
- Another room
- A hallway
- Additional ceilings
- Additional walls
- Trim or other qualifying painting services
When qualifying additional painting services are contracted during the project, they may also be included in the referral calculation.
The $1,000 maximum referral bonus still applies.
What Counts Toward the Referral Bonus?
This needs to be very clear.
Referral bonuses are calculated on qualifying TEI painting services only.
They do not include:
- Paint or other materials
- Applicable sales taxes
- Third-party charges
- Non-qualifying services
- Other charges specifically excluded under the program terms
This reflects TEI’s pricing philosophy:
TEI does not mark up materials.
If TEI receives a contractor discount on paint or materials, that savings is passed on to the client rather than being treated as service revenue.
Referral bonuses are therefore based on the painting services TEI provides, not materials purchased for the project.
There’s No Cost to Make a Referral
You don’t need to be a TEI customer to participate.
You don’t need to purchase anything.
If you know someone who could benefit from professional interior painting, introduce them to TEI Painters.

Referral Bonus Terms
A referral must be submitted to TEI Painters before the homeowner has already contacted TEI regarding the project. The referral must be accepted and recorded by TEI to qualify.
The referral bonus is calculated on qualifying painting services actually contracted with TEI. Materials, applicable taxes and other non-service charges are excluded from the referral calculation.
Qualifying additional painting services contracted during the project may be included in the referral calculation, subject to the $1,000 maximum referral bonus.
The referral bonus becomes payable after the qualifying project has been completed and the customer’s account has been paid in full.
Only one referral bonus may be paid for each qualifying project. TEI Painters reserves the right to verify referrals and determine eligibility in accordance with the program terms.
